To support fire fighting and rescue efforts in Williamson County, the agency recently awarded a check in the amount of $5,318.00 to the Williamson County Rescue Squad to fund the purchase of equipment. Specifically, the funds will be used to purchase a stationary nozzle to be mounted on the top of a fire truck that can deliver up to 2,000 gallons of water per minute onto a fire. According to Fire Captain Tim Hood, the majority of the squad's budget is funded by donations. This contribution directly supports the ability of the Williamson County Rescue Squad to protect the citizens of Williamson County.
